Texas Holdem

Texas hold 'em can well be treated as the most accepted poker game worldwide and to be more specific, it is much popular in the casinos and poker card rooms of North America and Europe.

A single card usually is dealt to each player to determine who will begin the game. The player with high card will deal first. A white plastic chip referred to as the button indicates the dealer position. And after a round of play, the dealer button rotates to the left, indicating everyone’s opportunity to play in this and with all other positions.

It is further a community card game, which confirms that each player should be dealt two cards face down ("hole cards"), and the cards entirely will belong only to that player. Once the first two cards are dealt, a round of betting usually takes place.

Once the first betting round comes to an end, the dealer then discards the top card of the deck. Which is further called burning the card and it is also important to avoid cheating. Flipping the next three cards, face up on the table is the dealer’s next action. These cards usually are known as the "flop." After the flop, it is the turn of another round of betting to take place (2nd betting round) The dealer in this round takes the initiative to burn another card then turns over the 4th community card (the turn, or 4th street)

Next comes the 3rd betting round. The player to the left of the dealer (the button) starts this third round of betting The dealer once again burns another card then turns over the 5th and final community card (the river, or the 5th street)

Last betting round:

Players’ by using any combination of these five community cards including their own two hole cards further has to form the best possible five-card Poker hand.

After this final betting round, all remaining players usually disclose their hands. The player who made the early bet or the player who ended with the last raise shows their hand first.

And the winner is the player who is with the best hand.
